These Peroxides (Carbamide and Hydrogen peroxide) are broken down into oxygen radicals, which enter between the enamel prisms (the outer layer of the tooth), dispersing (destroying) the colored molecules that affect the color of the tooth. Bleaching does not affect the structure of the tooth. Simply the inner color of the tooth becomes more (pale) white. Bleaching agents break down into smaller molecules and move in all directions inside the tooth. Even if the whole tooth is not covered with bleach, it all whitens.
Numerous scientific studies have proven the effectiveness of peroxides in teeth whitening. Enamel and dentin (two layers of tooth), existing fillings and porcelain are not affected, affected or damaged by whitening agents.

Does whitening affect the connection between the filling and the tooth?

How long does the bleaching effect last?

Bleaching results are consistent. However, depending on your eating habits and lifestyle, you may need to repeat the bleaching every two years.
To maintain the whitening effect unchanged, regular use of whitening paste recommended by the doctor is recommended.

Does bleaching cause sensitivity?

Tooth sensitivity is a temporary side effect of whitening. It leaves after bleaching is complete. Recent bleaching products contain (Potassium Nitrate), elements that eliminate sensitivity to cold and heat.
Scientific research has shown that Potassium Nitrate penetrates the enamel, dentin and even the nerve, acting as a pain reliever (analgesic and anesthetic).
Bleaching products also contain Fluoride, an element that reduces tooth sensitivity and protects it from decay.

Does bleaching cause problems by damaging or weakening tooth enamel (the outer layer)?
